Apple unveiled its new products today, including the iPhone 4S. It was the first product announcement with new CEO Tim Cook, promoted after Steve Jobs stepped down

The European debt crisis continues to rattle the markets. Franco-Belgian bank Dexia could be in trouble, and that would affect the U.S. Commentator Amity Shlaes discussed the role of the Federal Reserve here in the U.S. And Freakonomics Radio’s Stephen Dubner talked about the hidden side of a dropping crime rate.
