This final note today, in which a little bit of technology might just be too much. Y’know the OnStar system from GM?

OnStar robot voice: Hello and welcome to OnStar.

You can get that voice to call roadside assistance for you or help if you had an accident or something. Or, it turns out, read you your facebook updates. I kid you not. The Detroit Free Press says GM’s working on a deal with Facebook where you can get Facebook read to you as you drive. Because, they can, I guess.
