Arizona’s new hardline immigration law has inspired waves of protest from both sides of the issue. SB1070 has garnered enough heat to leave the state and take the national stage: anti-boycotters nationwide have flocked to Arizona to support state commerce, and boycotters are staging rallies everywhere. In Los Angeles, where is normally a hot-button issue, musical politicos Rage Against The Machine will play an event this Friday called Sound Strike protesting the measure, also sharing the stage with Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band. Here are a few topical songs from each band to get you acclimated.
