Big bucks, if you’re a retailer trying to peddle your goods online. And a new Forrester Research report shows that shoppers using tablets are more likely to buy online than those using PC’s.
The Wall Street Journal reports: “While the conversion rate – orders divided by total visits – is 3% for shoppers using a traditional PC, it is 4% or 5% using tablets.” The report estimates that one-third of all U.S. adults will own a tablet by 2015. So, for the 33% of you who do or will own a tablet in the next few years, get a good grip on your wallet.
