Listener Jordan Parry got in touch a while back as her landlord was getting ready to install connected thermostats, keyless locks, water sensors and more smart features in her building — and she wanted to know about her right to protect her data. Enter another Make Me Smart listener, David Wilts. He's a tech consultant who adds these features to buildings, including his own home in Chicago.
