This final note today: From New York City, word of a plot -- a foiled plot, I should say -- to blow up the New York Fed.

The FBI has arrested a 21-year-old Bangladeshi man after they say he tried to detonate what he thought was 1,000-pound bomb in a van parked outside the Fed building in Lower Manhattan. The FBI had it under control the whole time, apparently; the guy was using inert materials he'd been given by undercover FBI agents to make the bomb.

Still, scary stuff.
