The Democratic National Convention officially kicks off in Boston today. But the convention behind the convention is already well underway. These days the multi-million dollar affairs are more about rubbing elbows than official decision-making. As Marketplace's Amy Scott reports, many of those doing the elbow-rubbing are private consultants with a growing influence on the political process.
