Piggy Bank Award: For a better financial future

Tess Vigeland: And finally to this week’s Marketplace Money Piggy Award. Our little blue plastic friend is heading to York, S.C. with a little help from Pink.

Melissa: It’s so frustrating and embarrassing. I feel like I’m much smarter than my finances make it look like I am.

Melissa, our caller from earlier this hour, you may not be perfect with your finances, but you are doing really smart things to help yourself. So, I, the pig, and Pink say, “Bravo!” Feed piggy as best as you can and he’ll try to return the favor.
