Germans may not be able to buy the new Samsung Galaxy tablet because of copyright litigation with Apple, but they can finally play the video game Doom. That’s right, Doom – the 1993, first person shooter game that had been banned in Germany because “it was deemed likely to harm youth.” Until today, Doom and its follow-up, the aptly named Doom II, could only be purchased in adult-only stores.

Next goal for German consumers: finally being able to pick up that sweet new Gin Blossoms cassette.
