But on Tuesday, it was announced the indie darling of coffee shops had been bought up by Peet’s Coffee & Tea, a slightly larger coffee company with 200 stores. As Mashable writes, it’s unclear weather Peet’s plans to maintain or expand Stumptown’s current presence.
