Taco Bell menu goes healthy, with protein

The fast-food franchise is looking to double the meat in its menu items.

And this final note, a beef taco by any other name is a protein taco apparently.

Taco Bell’s going to start testing a new “Protein Power” menu in Ohio starting in July. The idea is to double the meat in some of their menu items, limit the calories and emphasize the protein — not the meat. Researchers have scoured the Internet for our feelings about terms like “meat” and “protein” and protein definitely wins the popularity contest.

Hey folks, it’s still beef.
