A group calling itself LulzSec Reborn is claiming credit for a big hack and data grab/dump on a web site for singles in the military. They posted the names and email addresses of 170,937 members on a website. Visitors to the site militarysingles.net will notice that the individual user profiles are not visible, although the site’s admin originally said that this was not a result of any hack.

But in response to that comment, a post from DataBreaches.net read, “I compared the database in the .rar file to the ‘online members’ pictured on your home page and the entries in the data dump correspond to those usernames.”
Likewise, LulzSec Reborn tweeted Monday: “Stupid Administrator ‘There is no evidence militarysingles is hacked’ Well guess what?”

LulzSec Reborn and another group, Operation Digiturk, are promising more data from the site soon.
You’ll recall that a lot of top members of LulzSec were arrested after the group’s leader, Sabu, turned out to be an FBI informant. It’s not known if the new group is made up of former members of the old one or if this is a whole new thing.
