Lists, lists, and more lists. That’s what people want at the end of every year, right? Media research firm, Nielson, is happy to oblige with its just-released Top U.S. Web Brands in 2011. No real surprises, Google tops the list, followed by Facebook and Yahoo!. YouTube, Wikipedia, and Apple are all there too.

Nielson also tallied the top social networks and blogs (#1 – Facebook), video sites (#1 – YouTube), and smartphones (#1 – Apple).
