Zombie preparedness information unavailable, top BRAAAAAINS working on it

John Moe May 20, 2011

The Centers for Disease Control decided to have a little fun and they posted information on their blog about what to do in the event of an outbreak of zombies. The post was soon racking up tens of thousands of hits and the site crashed and was down for several hours. Apparently most CDC blog posts get maybe a thousand hits. I think the most dismaying thing happening here is that actual information about real things that could happen gets a small sliver of audience compared to zombies. Besides, everyone knows the real threat is mummies.
