Attorneys general from New York, Connecticut and Minnesota have all said they’re concerned about the proposed AT&T and T-Mobile deal. New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said he’s going to put the thing under “thorough review,” while other AGs say they’re thinking about it. He told the Wall Street Journal: “Cellphones are no longer a luxury for a few among us, but a basic necessity. The last thing New Yorkers need during these difficult economic times is to see cellphone prices rise.”
