That’s how much Dow Chemical and DuPont say they will be worth following Friday’s announced merger. As the New York Times writes, the resulting company, DowDuPont, will become the second-largest chemical company in terms of revenue. BASF of Germany is the first.

And those new renters are not the young, 20-somethings you might expect. Over half of those renting residents fall in the 40-plus category. Some analysts say its because when older American lost their homes during the housing crisis, they turned to renting.
