PODCAST: Google, Googlare, Googlizni, let’s call the whole thing off

Michigan advances 'right-to-work' laws. Another earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Companies may be able to squeeze more productivity out of their workers by opening up shared office spaces. And, how do you say Google in Swedish?

The number of the day is 146,000. That’s how many jobs were added last month and the unemployment rate fell to a four year low of 7.7 percent.

Michigan is likely to join 23 other states with right-to-work laws. Republicans passed legislation yesterday through the state’s House and Senate amid strong opposition from unions.

And finally, there are certain brands that seem universal like McDonalds or Starbucks or Google, but the Atlantic Wire points out that “to google” isn’t “to google” all over the world.
