About 46 million Americans don’t have any health insurance and because of that, they tend to get sicker and to get worse care than the rest of us.
That in turn gives the industry a bad name, so the health insurance lobby is coming up with its own plan for universal coverage: A public-private partnership, we’re told, that’s both “fiscally responsible and affordable.”
No details until after the election, though. November 13, to be specific.
