This final note today, in which a little bit of the future slips away.

How many times have you wished that you had a flying car? Lots, right? Problem is that if you have a flying car you gotta know how to fly.

From the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, this item: A U.S.-made flying car (more of a dune-buggy with a propellor and a parasail attached) hit a tree and crashed last week.

Nobody was hurt, but the Maverick was wrecked — $94,000 down the tubes.
