Living near the beach in San Diego, California isn’t cheap. But for Cheryl Alexander, it’s worth it. That’s part of why at 77, she still works two jobs — as a family counselor, and owner of Italian Excursion, her one-woman tour company.
After falling in love with the Italian countryside 30 years ago, Alexander still visits twice a year with a small group of travelers in tow, and she’s not ready to slow down yet.
“Nobody’s brought up the fact that I haven’t stopped doing it,” she said. “It’s just gotten to be something that Cheryl does.”
