It may be smart to wait a while before you sign up for the new health care plan

The new Affordable Care Act health exchanges go live Tuesday morning, but will the website function properly?

Millions of Americans who don’t have health insurance can now buy it through a system of online exchanges put in place by the Affordable Care Act. The computer system at the center of the health care overhaul is supposed to connect customers and insurance companies with seven federal agencies — from the IRS to the Social Security Administration. But there have been big questions about the security of personal data and whether the system will function properly.
