Apple booting YouTube app

If Burger King didn’t know how to make a really big hamburger but its customers really wanted one, maybe they would start selling Big Macs, like from McDonald’s. Burger King would pay McDonald’s for the right to do that and McDonald’s would hand over some rough guidelines. That Big Mac wouldn’t really be the same, right? Not as good?
Apple is Burger King and YouTube is the Big Mac. McDonald’s is Google.
The next version of Apple’s mobile operating system won’t feature an Apple-created YouTube app. The company says this is because the licensing agreement expired. It’s also because Apple hates Google for what it sees as a ripoff of the iPhone in the Android.
All it will mean for you and me is that we’ll be able to either watch YouTube videos within the browser or in a new Google-created YouTube app, which Apple says is on the way. That app will probably work better (Apple’s YouTube app is actually pretty horrible) but it will likely be loaded up with advertisements too because everything is.
