Repeating history with American Apparel

Apparently someone missed the memo about Don Charney

Those who don’t remember history may well be condemned to repeat it.

Business Insider is reporting that a couple of private equity groups are working on a bid to buy American Apparel out of bankruptcy.

Working with company founder and former CEO Dov Charney, I should say.

The same guy who was fired amid charges of harassment and discrimination and all around ickiness.

I mention this because it’s kind of amazing, but also as a cheap ploy to get you to check out my interview with Charney.

Amazing might be the only appropriate word.
