I heard people talking in nostalgic tones about how waiting in line in the dead of night, for stores to open on black Friday, is a tradition. Pass the leftovers, I’m tired. And besides, pretty much anything you could get at 12:01 a.m. Friday morning was for sale on your laptop - the same laptop that sits beside your bed. The same bed you can go to sleep in two minutes after you make your black Friday sale purchases online. According to ComScore, online Black Friday sales were up 26% over last year. Somewhere, Jeff Bezos is crying tiny gold tears of joy.

“I think the best compliment I can give is not to say how much your programs have taught me (a ton), but how much Marketplace has motivated me to go out and teach myself.” – Michael in Arlington, VA
