Meet the Team

Jordan Mangi is an associate digital producer for Marketplace based in Chicago, Illinois. She joined Marketplace in 2023 and was previously an intern on the digital team. Jordan produces online content for the daily "Marketplace" show, reports web stories, and helps keep the site running smoothly.

Sean is based in Los Angeles, California.

Andie is a producer of Marketplace's flagship daily program. She produces field stories, economic explainers and interviews with government officials, small-business owners, CEOs and others. Andie joined Marketplace in 2019 and is based in Los Angeles.

In her work as a producer on Marketplace’s flagship show, Sarah puts together segments on topics ranging from the economics of healthcare to modern-day train heists. Previously, she worked for GBH, WBUR, and Michigan Public, and, in her free time, she travels the globe, attends comedy shows, and plays too much mahjong. She lives in Boston with her dog, Fettuccine.

Maria Hollenhorst is based in Los Angeles, California.

Kai is the host and senior editor of “Marketplace,” the most widely heard program on business and the economy — radio or television, commercial or public broadcasting — in the country. Kai speaks regularly with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, startup entrepreneurs, small-business owners and everyday participants in the American and global economies. Before his career in broadcasting, Kai served in the United States Navy and United States Foreign Service. He’s a graduate of Emory University and Georgetown University. Kai lives in Los Angeles with his wife and four children.
