“I didn't fall in love with the house when I walked in,” said Ashley Pincenti, a first-time homeowner in Bartlett, Illinois. “I had signs telling me: ‘This is your house.’”
At the age of 40, Brandon Adams bought his first home in Durham, North Carolina. He chose a townhome as he felt it would be an easier transition from being a renter.
“I started to learn how to attack things on our credit reports that did not look great in the eyes of lenders,” said Nyeisha Brooks, a first-time homeowner.
