A small coastal town's fight against ICE

Newport, Oregon is a small town on the coast. It has beautiful beach views and a robust seafood industry.

Recently, the town has been brought together against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after their rescue helicopter was taken to the southern border.

“Marketplace” host Amy Scott joined Garrett Epps, the legal affairs editor at the Washington Monthly who reported on this story, to talk about Newport’s fight against ICE.
