Fed meets ahead of interest rate decision

Economists think another interest rate cut is on the way.

The Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee meets for a second day Wednesday, before announcing its direction on interest rates. Most economists and investors are betting on another cut — by 25 basis-points — which would be the third since July of this year.
