He’s re-releasing all six Star Wars movies (the three actual movies plus the three abominations against all that is holy) in 3D. Starting with Phantom Menace and going all the way through to Return of the Ewoks. Whether this is further proof of the here-to-stayness of 3D or just Lucas trying to milk more money (because somehow he needs it?) is the subject of conjecture. Despite my incomprehensible fury at this news, my 9-year-old son said, “Cool! I can’t wait!” So there you go.
