Hayley Hershman

Producer

Hayley Hershman is the senior producer of podcast development, where she brings ideas to life. Some of her favorite projects are the story-telling show "This Is Uncomfortable," the award-winning climate show "How We Survive," and Marketplace’s first video podcast, "Financially Inclined."

She has worked on a myriad of Marketplace projects, both in studio and in the field, including special coverage of the tenth anniversary of the financial crisis and a series on globalization and capitalism. At one point she interviewed celebrities for a series on Marketplace Weekend, which was very cool.

Hayley was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She’s a graduate of the University of Michigan, but really knows very little about football so please don’t ask.
