So says Kara Swisher at All Things D and she’s usually right about these things. Apple, she says, will be holding an event on March 2nd and invites should be going around soon. It is expected to be in San Francisco and will feature the iPad 2, which if we are to believe all the rumors up to this point will be thinner, have front and rear facing cameras, and have a chip capable of running GSM or CDMA so it will work on any network that chooses to carry it. What’s still in dispute is when this thing will reach stores, some say April, some say not until July. But it’s coming.
