iPhone 4 imports banned in patent case

The U.S. International Trade Commission has banned the import of some of Apple’s older devices — the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 3G. It’s part of the ongoing patent war between Samsung of Soeul, South Korea and Apple of Cupertino, California.

Apple will appeal and some experts argue courts are unlikely to uphold the ban. Daniel Ernst, principal at Hudson Square Research, joins Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio to share his take.
