This final note today, a nod to our colleagues in the print media.

The AP Stylebook turns 60 this year. A key go-to manual for what’s proper writing in journalism and not.

That’s stylebook — all one word, by the way. There are new entries on the proper usage of ‘flash mob’ and ‘Google Hangout.’ The differences between ‘assault rifle’ and ‘assault weapon.’ A prohibition on the use of the term ‘illegal immigrant,’ which came out a couple of weeks ago.

Also, still no serial comma.

Yet another reason I’m glad I’m in radio.
