Starbucks' trademarks the 'Fizzio'

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz speaks at an event on October 4, 2011 in New York City.

This final note today: Starbucks, at long last, finally jumped the shark.

After insisting for years that a skinny, soy, vanilla, triple-pump frappucino with whipped cream can be called coffee.

Ad Age is reporting that Starbucks has made a trademark filing for the the word 'Fizzio.'

People who know way more about these things that I do suspect it may mean the company's going to get into fizzy drinks.
