boeing 737 Max

Reuters reports that the FAA is close to recertifying the aircraft after a series of crashes and in-flight problems.

After years of concerns about safety and quality control, especially involving the 737 Max, Boeing’s airplane delivery numbers are up.

Many travelers still prioritize the cost of travel over which airplane they will fly in.

Some trace Boeing’s problems back to the ’90s.

“The staffing for flight attendants, especially domestically, is at FAA minimums,” said Sara Nelson, international president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA. “Our jobs are harder than they’ve ever been.”

While investigators are still looking into why a piece of a Boeing aircraft blew off an Alaska Airlines flight over the weekend, there aren’t many rival plane suppliers.

Would you pay an additional $60 for extra legroom? Airlines are betting that you just might.

The order says that Boeing’s design changes have made the jets airworthy, 20 months after the 737 Max model was grounded.

Airlines using Boeing’s 737 Max will have to get FAA approval for pilot training programs and complete required maintenance.

Those in charge didn’t necessarily understand everything about the plane’s design or the safety lapses.
