When he was a kid growing in Bengaluru, India, Shreyas Bachiraju had a passion for helping others. He thought he might become a doctor, but fate had other things in store for him.

“When I was in high school, I kind of started leaning into entrepreneurship, and then I sort of found my way to tech and entrepreneurship. So, I was really interested in how I could potentially use tech to benefit others.”

Now, years later, Bachiraju is about to graduate from Arizona State University with a degree in informatics, a study that mixes computer science, data science, and human-computer interaction. But despite feeling optimistic about his employment prospects, a job isn’t top on mind.

“I haven't really explored the job market yet, because ever since I was a sophomore, I kind of knew that I wanted to go to grad school.”
