Congressional Black Caucus seeks to boost participation in U.S. census

African American participation in the upcoming census is a topic of concern for some legislators.

Today in Washington, U.S Census Bureau Director Steven Dillingham is scheduled to appear before the House Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Subcommittee. The topic is fallout from the recent push by President Trump — since abandoned — to include a citizenship question on the 2020 Census form. Another topic of concern to some lawmakers?
