TPP is dead, but US-Japan trade lives on
Prime Minister Abe will meet with President Trump tomorrow.
President Donald Trump will host Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday. Japan and the United States swapped nearly $200 billion in stuff last year, making Japan America’s fourth-biggest trading partner. Now that the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal is dead, there are big questions about the future of trade between the U.S. and Japan.
