Corporatization and increased testing are partly to blame

Jason Clenfield of Bloomberg says he has a family member who went to the same mom-and-pop veterinarian for years. But recently the family learned the office had been bought out by a large corporation.

Turns out this is becoming a much larger trend. So what’s going on?
