One sweet benefit of owning a Tesla has been free charging at the company’s network of high-speed charging stations. But no more. Tesla has announced that new buyers will get the charging equivalent of 1,000 miles a year, and then they’ll have to pay for the electricity that makes Teslas go. It’s a big shift for the company’s way of doing business.
