Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, was at Wellesley College in Massachusetts over the weekend — she joined a panel discussing the gap between rich and poor in the world. She spoke with Marketplace Morning Report host David Brancaccio about income inequality, and why focusing on gender disparity in education is important to addressing financial hardship.
