The rise of flat beer

Fizz-less beers boast high alcohol content and taste more like wine and spirits than traditional beer.

You got your lagers and your ales, and your stouts, your pales, your pilsners and your reds and also, apparently you got your flats: non-carbonated beers.

They’re usually quite high in alcohol content and more like spirits than beer, which means you can open, re-seal and re-visit as you like as you would with a bottle of whiskey.

Spike Carter is a contributor to Bloomberg Pursuits and he’s got a piece out about some noteworthy versions of flat beer.
