Find the AP participation rate at your high school

Compare, by race, the percentage of students enrolled in your high school with the percentage enrolled in at least one an AP class.

About two million high school students around the country are taking Advanced Placement exams this May. AP tests are administered after a year of tougher, more challenging courses that research shows help kids get into, and succeed, in college.

But despite attempts to bring low-income, minority students into AP classes, about 650,000 of those students are ‘missing’ from those courses, “who would participate in advanced courses in their high schools if given the opportunity to participate at the same rate as other students,” according to Reid Sarris, prseident of Equal Opportunity Schools.

Compare, by race, the percentage of students enrolled in your high school with the percentage enrolled in at least one an AP class.
