The price comes close to Bitcoin’s $1,250 all-time high, which the currency quickly lost after an announcement last month that China would restrict exchanges of the currency with the Yuan. (LAT)

There are 606 such patents filed overall, meaning China is well positioned to benefit from the expanding decriminalization and legalization of the the drug around the world. (The Independent)
