Adobe admits it’s been hacked, customer information compromised

Hackers have gained access to almost 3 million customer accounts.

Software giant Adobe has admitted that hackers have gained access to nearly 3 million customer accounts connected with the company. Hackers also stole source code that many of Adobe’s products like Adobe Acrobat Reader are built from. Having the source code, which lives on computers all over the world, could help hackers learn new ways to control all kinds of computing devices and attack businesses.

Brian Krebs, investigative journalist and author of the cyber crime blog Krebs on Security, joins Marketplace Tech host Ben Johnson to discuss.
