Google Shopping Express offers same-day delivery

Can Google's ambitious new delivery program work?

When you think fast delivery of different products bought online, you usually think of Amazon, eBay, or Zappos. But now Google is jumping into the game with same-day delivery. The company just rolled out that service in the Bay Area. You can buy stuff from national retailers, as well as from local San Francisco spots. The hope is that one day it could go national. But first the question is, can Google actually deliver? Cyrus Farivar, senior business editor of Ars Technica, ordered some things to try and find out.
