What can one share of Berkshire Hathaway buy you?

At $174,000 per share, you can buy a lot of DQ Blizzards.

This final note today, in which I confess to sometimes — in idle moments around here — perusing the website Buzzfeed.

Saw this today, kind of wish we had thought of it ourselves: A list of what one share of a company’s stock might buy you at that company.

(Though earlier today we did enumerate a bunch of the things you could buy with Apple’s cash.)

Here’s a couple of highlight’s from Buzzfeed’s stock price list:

  • Lululemon closed at about $67 today, for which you could by a yoga mat.

  • Gap, at $45, gets you one pair of printed shorts.

  • Berkshire Hathaway, at $174,000, with which you could buy 50,000 Dairy Queen Blizzards or 23,000 boxes of See’s Candies lollipops.
