Size matters when it comes to office desks

New research shows a link between where you sit, and how you act at the office.

This final note: We’ve heard about stand-up desks. Even treadmill desks.

There’s new research from a Columbia Business School professor that shows a link between your seating arrangements, and how you act at the office — the bigger the desk, the more dishonest you may be.

“Environments that expand the body can inadvertently lead us to feel more powerful,” the researchers write. “And these feelings of power can cause dishonest behavior.’

You heard it here first, from me — a guy who just pocketed a few of Kai Ryssdal’s pens from what is a pretty big desk.

He won’t miss ’em.
