What do asteroids and the Federal Reserve have in common?

QE2. Quantitative easing or an asteroid?

This final note on the way out today, in which the Federal Reserve meets interplanetary orbital dynamics.

Here’s what I’m talking about: There is, as you may have heard, an asteroid that’s zipping by Earth today. We’re gonna be okay. It’s not gonna get any closer than 3.5 million miles, NASA says.

Here’s the great part, though, about the Fed. The name of this thing? Asteroid 1998 QE2.

Get it? QE2? Quantitative easing?

Or maybe that was just me who thought that was funny, ’cause I’ve been doing this too long.
