You can do a lot with $2 billion

President Obama and Gov. Romney have raised just shy of $2 billion collectively. Here are a few things they could do with that money.

This final note today, we look at the financial disclosures section fo the Federal Election Commission website. Between ’em, President Obama, Gov. Romney and their parties are just shy of raising two billion dollars to win the White House.

They’ll get there by Election Day, and that’s not even counting super PACs.

We got to counting all the other things you could do with $2 billion: Buy more than 3 million shares of Apple stock. Or 3,311,258 to be exact.

Re-make and re-market Disney’s flop, “John Carter,” 5.3 times.

Or you could almost make it to Mars. Sorry, you’ll need an extra half billion to actually get there.
